Drawing & Painting Trees
Do you find that your trees all look alike when you try to draw or paint them? Did you know there are about 20,000 different types of trees in the world? In this class we will explore how to communicate their uniqueness in the sketch and in a painting from their roots to their branches and leaves.
Dates: Wednesday August 19, 26, September 2 & 9
Time: 9:30 to 11:30. Please arrive 15 minutes early so that we can start right at 9:30.
Cost: is $100. A Materials List is provided as they are not included in the class fee.
NOTE: At present I will be limiting the maximum number of students to 4 in order to meet the Covid 19 restart protocols. You will be sitting at separate tables 6 feet apart. Masks are required when a 6 foot distance cannot be maintained and there will be plenty of hand sanitizer
Sketch book/paper 8x10 minimum
Variety of pencils
You may either bring watercolor or oils.
Variety of brushes
a minimum of 3 primary colors & white,
watercolor paper/pad or canvases for oils (8x10 or larger)
Artist odorless turpentine or mineral spirits if using oils - jars with covers to transport.
