This class filled up when I offered it in January and some of you did not get in, so I am offering it again. Whether you just want advice on staying motivated or opening your own art gallery, this workshop will help. Much of what is covered can be applied to other things. A writer of children’s books took the January class and said she learned more from this class in one day than the “How to Start a Small Business” class she took through SCORE which lasted several days. This class is packed with information so you can be successful in your artistic endeavors.
Here is some of what we will cover in this all-day workshop:
* Why & What Do I Create?
* The Art Studio (Your Place to Create)
* Presenting & Showing Your Art
* Pricing & Selling Your Art
* Creating a Business Plan
* Bookkeeping/Record Keeping
* Copyrights: Yours & Theirs
* Financing Your Dream
We will take a short 1/2 hour break for lunch and I recommend you bring a lunch. I will provide coffee, tea, water & lemonade.
