A Plein Air Painting Event and Fundraiser for the Palmyra Fire Department.
Please read the festival rules before registering. * Registration Fee $25.00 * Open Entry/Non-Juried event limited to the first 25 paid registrants. * Check-in and canvas stamping begins at 8:00 AM Wednesday at Liberio Art * Paint anywhere within the town of Palmyra (includes all of Aqueduct Park) - map provided * Paint all day Wednesday, Thursday finish up Friday morning (Rain or Shine) * Maximum art work size without frame/matting is 11x14. * Submit 2 paintings for judging and display. * Artwork Drop Off: Friday Noon to 3:00 PM, framed and ready to hang with wire. * Judging - Saturday AM (exact time TBD) * Judge: TBD * Awards: 1st $100, 2nd $75, 3rd $50, Sponsor’s Choice (me) $100, Palmyra Fire Dept.’s Choice $TBD, Merit Awards (2 @$25), People’s Choice $50 (Amounts may change.) * Awards Announcement Saturday @ 1:00 PM * Artwork may be for sale-price determined by the artist. 20% commission collected on any sales. * Display to public: Saturday 2:00 to 5:00 (reception may be possible if allowed) , Sunday 11:00 to 4:00, Labor Day 11:00 to 4:00. * Unsold Paintings to be picked up Monday 4:00 - 6:00 or Tuesday 11:00 to 5:00. Checks for sold paintings will be available for pick up or mailed on Friday, September 10. *Covid Rules at the time of the event will be followed.
