Paint Palmyra 2021 - a Huge Success

Hello Everyone!
The Paint Palmyra Plein Air Painting Event and Fundraiser for the Palmyra Fire Department was a huge success! I cannot thank you all enough for your support with this event. There was no way it could have been done without you!

We raised $875 for the Palmyra Fire Company. They were overwhelmed with the community support and generosity.  14 artists registered for the event and were seen out painting our wonderful town.  33 paintings were submitted for display, judging, and sales. $650 in prize money was awarded to the artists and 9 paintings were sold.  10% of the sales were included in the donation to the fire company.

I have decided to make Paint Palmyra an annual event.  The artists are excited to return and others who were not able to participate want to next year.  The dates will be September 7-11 (Patriot Day).  It seems appropriate to raise funds for our first responders that weekend.  I hope you will consider joining me for the 2nd Annual Paint Palmyra next September.
Thank you again to the artists, sponsors, volunteers, those who came and bought art and the Palmyra Community who made Paint Palmyra a tremendous fundraising event!
